First Beginning: The Beginning of this Blog or Introduction

One of the problems with ADHD-PI is forgetfulness. It causes a certain lack of follow-through. Sometimes I think it takes me a thousand beginnings to stumble my way to one conclusion. So I figured, why not just accept that? Why not schedule the time to sit and make enough beginnings to reach a conclusion. Hey, it might work.

This particular spate of beginnings is going to be fed into NaNoWriMo - National Novel Writing Month. It won't be a novel, but that's okay. It will be word count, which is what NaNo is mostly interested in participants producing. And it will serve my purposes.

I also have a blog called The Guilt List. It was created more than a year ago and it only has one entry. I feel a bit guilty about that. So if I write there during November (the Novel Writing Month), I'll take credit for the word count. And if I write here and start writing about something I feel guilty about, I'll cross post. It'll be fun. And this is 175 words. Only 2825 words to go for the first day.

  1. For those who are curious, I only logged 6,592 words at Nano that year. I may have written more, without logging it, but that's what I logged.

If you've read much of this blog, you know what the chances are that I'll keep up with moderating comments. You may be casting your comments into the howling void.
